Package: Group support


We have worked with groups of people who are all facing similar challenges with their existing career and have found these sessions to be really stimulating and rewarding for all those involved.

The minimum group size we have found works the best is eight and the maximum no more than twelve people.

Our approach, like everything we do, is flexible but the following are typical workshop outlines we have delivered:


Workshop One

Aims and objectives for the day.

The aim of the session is raise awareness of how each participant is ‘anchored’ in their life, how they might consider their future and to ensure their CV’s help them secure interviews.

Career Anchors - objectives

  1. Understanding what anchors you in your life
  2. Work through Career Anchors self assessment
  3. Discussion and feedback about what anchors us in our lives
  4. Analyse where you are now in your career
  5. Initial consideration what you might want to do in the future

Your CV - objectives

  1. Exercise - in pairs, a look at a range of CV’s
  2. Group feedback from observations
  3. What recruiting decision makers need from a CV
  4. Consideration of more than one version of a CV
  5. Layout and structure of a CV
  6. 1:1 and group support with any changes needed with participants CV’s
  7. Development planning

Personality Profiling

  1. An insight into the profiling tools to be used
  2. Arrangements to complete the profile and gain feedback

The cost for this would be: £2500 + vat (including the cost of individual profiles)




Workshop 2

Aims and objectives of the session

The aim of the session is to prepare participants when applying for new roles, and tailoring their approach for different recruitment situations from an application through to interviewing.

Workshop 3

Aims and objectives of the session

The aim of this one to one session is to work through the Personality Assessment report used in detail with each participant and consider their developmental needs for future career planning along with individual bespoke advice and support if requested.

Typically one or two GMD staff would attend this day and offer a ‘surgery’ service so those who attend and the business they currently work for are not disrupted too much from the day to day activities of running the organisation.

The cost for this would be: £1500 + vat
